Sparkfold collects only what it needs to quote, make and deliver your parts, and handles it under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect and why

We do not sell your information. We send marketing only if you have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.

We aim to store website data in Google's Johannesburg region. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where they do, we use providers bound by data protection terms that offer protection comparable to POPIA.
How long we keep it
- Quotes, orders and invoices: 5 years, for tax purposes.
- Files for quotes that were never accepted: deleted after 12 months.
- Your account: until you ask us to close it, subject to the records above.
Cookies
The site uses only cookies and browser storage needed for login and security. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact the Information Officer above. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator: inforegulator.org.za.
Security
Access to your information is limited to Sparkfold and the service providers above. Data is sent over encrypted connections, and customer accounts can see only their own quotes.
